Listener Feedback

Hi! I dig the podcast. Keep up the Great Work. I got back in to riding again back in July 2008. I started off with 2008 KLR 650. I then bought a 2009 Ducati Sport Classic 1000s which is a fun bike just not for long trips or commuting. I put 10, 000 miles on each of those bikes before selling them. I bought a 2011 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS. It is a fun sport touring bike after putting over 30,000 miles on the Connie. I traded the Connie in for a 2013 BMW K1600GT in Santa Fe, NM. It has all the bells and whistles I wanted. Cruise control is a God send for long haul touring. I have over 13,000 miles on the beemer. So I am into sport touring, I like a bike that can get me to the Colorado/New Mexico mountains or Texas Hill country and can play in the curves. I have a question about summer gloves. I need to replace my Knox Handroids. The handdroids lasted for three years. However, the gloves have a large hole in the left thumb from wear and the leather in both palms and fingers have become very worn with fraying.

I have been looking at a couple of gloves from two brands Held and Rukka. The Held gloves are the Air N Dry gloves. I like that they are Gore Tex and dual chambered. The ability to switch to a water proof chamber is very appealing when getting caught in the rain.  The other glove is Rukka Argosaurus Gore-Tex glove. I like the look and functionality of these gloves. However they do not look very breathable. Plus, They look just like the Cortech HydroGT Gloves. I mean what gives? Are Rukka and Cortech using the same supplier? Why pay more for the RukKa? Do you know of other comparable gloves? I appreciate expert advice from the GearChic and ADVGoddess.
