Adventure Series - Interview with Bruce Johnson: Motorcycle for Miracles Father/Daughter Charity Ride
Thank you for joining us on the sixth installment of the Moterrific Podcast Adventure Series. In this episode, Bruce Johnson, husband, father, Canadian RE/MAX agent, and motorcyclist, tells us about his extraordinary father/daughter motorcycle fundraising journey for the Children's Miracle Network. Bruce and his 13 year-old daughter Holly travelled pillion from Toronto, Canada, through the United States, Mexico, Central America, and ultimately to Costa Rica, which was all Holly's idea (!), before she flew back home to Canada. From that point forward in the journey, Bruce's return path to Canada on the BMW included a brief stopover in Los Angeles, where I was able to sit down and chat with him on the genesis of the trip itself and the special tie-in to the Children's Miracle Network. Any further details would be giving it away as Bruce is quite the storyteller.
I should note that like all of our guests on the Adventure Series, Bruce is no exception and is a privateer of the wanderlust and adventure that has been his journey thus far. The trip is in no matter funded by the charity or the cause, but is instead an investment made as a family into an invaluable experience that will last a lifetime for all of those involved.
